Up-Tempo Boxing Fitness' keys to success are:
Marketing our services to local schoolsfor Education and Healthcare.
Recruitment of experienced managerial talent and boxing coaches.
Dedication and hard work of the founders.
Raising educational attainment of pupils and well-being of council residents.
Lowering overall costs (both monetary and psychologically) to the borough’s citizens.
Our Mission
Up-Tempo Boxing & Fitness has an Outreach Programme that helps school children to attain better grades and council residents to experience a greater sense of safety, belonging and well-being - through physical exercise – by promoting one of the greatest gifts of all - good health. Personal gains, such as improved self-esteem and self-motivation, combined with measurable benefits, will create tremendous advantages for both the Borough and the Citizen. Reliance on drugs and the antisocial behaviour related to such activities will decrease as more youngsters are encouraged to take control of their lives and be the best they can be through regular visits to our community boxing gym.
The council and police have many initiatives to make our streets safer, not least the use of CCTV to tackle knife crime. Engagement in Boxinggoes hand in had with these initiatives as the youngsters who would traditionally be engaged in such activity are given different choices which produce a positive focus.
Corporate level or white-collar boxing is a growing phenomenon. The excitement and thrills experienced at every stage can be harnessed by employers for the benefit of all their employees but with all of the danger taken out. We aim to give your companys access to the ability to exploit the advantages of organising a Charity Dinner-Boxing Evenings which will be the envy of all your competitors.
We all know that Training for and competing in Corporate White-Collar Boxing serves to instil the ethos of hard work, fun & excitement through the challenges associated with striving to take part and win. Even employees who are not competing tend to be spurred on to engage in sporting activity and will also turn up to watch the show and cheer for their colleagues.
i.To host a grand night of Charity Dinner-Boxing for employees representing your many different branches.
ii.Each branch/section will nominate a colleague who has volunteered to represent her/his section as their boxing champion. The individual concerned will have undertaken a three-month programme of intense physical activity in his/her own time; to get ready for a boxing contest on the night.
iii.The firm will be seen to positively demonstrate it’s commitment to its employee’s welfare; encourage staff cohesion; and save on insurance premiums by promoting a fitter, happier and better prepared workforce.
i.Training will take part at Up-Tempo’s fully equipped and dedicated gym in the Fulham area at set times each week and at other venues as directed by a fully qualified boxing coach. The company will purchase a package of training slots for groups of boxers (20 in total for each show) at a greatly reduced rate for the bulk order.
ii.It is envisaged that a nominated Charity should be the benefactor of any monies collected over and above the overheads associated with this event. The added incentive of making a charitable contribution tends to reflect positively on altruistic donations of time, effort and money.
iii.Events on the night cannot help but to bring employees, employers, different offices, sections, departments and branches closer together. Plus a greater form of real cohesion amongst employees is always evident in the lead up to the Charity Boxing Dinner
